We are pleased to be working with a leading globally recognised insurance company seeking to recruit a Financial Reporting Accountant into their established and busy finance function on an initial, but long term, contract basis.
Candidates will be responsible for:
- Preparation and filing of Quarterly and Annual regulatory reporting.
- Assisting with Solvency II implementation and testing / refining current implementation and procedure documentation.
- Producing regulatory change and financial reporting analysis
- Supporting other functions such as external auditors, actuaries, and stakeholders, providing appropriate information as required.
Candidates need to have a good working knowledge and demonstrable experience within the insurance industry, in particular with Solvency II data preparation and submission. You will have strong Excel and Analytical skills, being able to analyse large volumes of data and convert this into a logical format. Candidates will be proactive, with good project management and communication skills. Whilst being ACCA / ACA / CIMA qualified is preferred, it is not essential.
