As a result of continued expansion we are pleased to be representing a leading professional services organisation seeking to recruit a Group Financial Accountant into their business.
Candidates will be responsible for working as part of a friendly and dynamic team who can work with a high level of attention to detail and who can demonstrate strong commercial acumen. Candidates will be responsible for Preparation of management accounts and related reporting at month end as well as reviewing the parent company and all other group companies at month end through variance analysis against budget. You will prepare the monthly MI, complete quarterly VAT returns, assist with budgeting and the preparation of year end accounts amongst other responsibilities.
Experience:
- Candidates need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and educated to degree level
- Ideally candidates will come from a practice background and be seeking an opportunity to move into industry, although our client will consider other routes.
- Good solid all round finance experience is required.
- You will have an eye for detail, the ability to analyse reports and MI, be IT literate with advanced Excel skills and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
