Application Support Analyst

We are currently recruiting for an Application Support Analyst for an Application    Support team at a nationwide client. This is a permanent role within a small team.


     Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support for the business applications within the Administration business.
  • Resolving service desks and participating in data processing activities
  • Develop solutions to work requests and produce documentation
  • Cleansing and preparation of data for import into business applications.


Knowledge & experience:

  • MS SQL server (particularly T-SQL scripting, stored procedure development and database design)
  • Creating spreadsheets, experience with Visual Basic for Applications (VBA).
  • JavaScript, C# and Visual Basic and Visual Studio would be an advantage.
  • Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Microsoft SQL Server Reporting (SSRS).
  • Ideally educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Microsoft certification in MS SQL (MTA / MCSA / MCSE) and MS Office (MOs) would be an advantage.
