We are pleased to be working on behalf an expanding global insurance organisation who currently looking for a Business Analyst to help support the delivery of a portfolio of changes and projects supporting the business, IT and change functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Understand the business’ requirements and to design a solution which meets these requirements
• Determine and advise on feasibility of solutions during Business Requirements gathering
• Produce functional design documents to explain how IT will meet the business requirements
• Walkthrough and handover of functional design to IT development and testing teams
• Ensure a seamless transition from project to IT support by acting as the Subject Matter Expert.

Key Requirements:

• Educated to degree level (Bachelors) in Computer Science, Information Systems or related.
• Experience of working in the commercial insurance market/Business Analysis in the Insurance sector.
• Exposure to and knowledge of the full IT project lifecycle: project initiation through to implementation.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL or Oracle, including ability to construct ‘select’ type queries
