Immigration Caseworker / Supervisor - IAAS Level 2

Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a personable and driven person who is passionate about immigration law, to become a member of a welcoming and enthusiastic team to work on immigration casework in the Birmingham area. Your work will involve undertaking a variety of cases involving issues such as Asylum, Human rights, Appeals, Bail and Detained Asylum Casework and Judicial Review, and attend detention centres

The role:

  • You will manage your own caseload while supervising others.
  • You will be advising clients and preparing applications to the required standard.
  • You shall advise, assess and collect relevant documents for the immigration process.
  • You’ll be expected to undertake public immigration work and deal with legal aid application
  • Be able to ensure a high level of service with existing clients in order to secure repeat business.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest relevant legislation, policy changes and changes in the law.
  • You will have excellent written and oral communication skills

Experience and Qualifications:

  • You must be IAAS level 2 accredited
  • 2 years’ experience with Immigration casework is preferable
