Pension Fund Accountant

Our client, a leading Pensions and Actuarial Consultancy, currently seeks a Pension Fund Accountant to provide accounting services to their clients.

The role will involve the drafting of pension fund accounts in accordance with our clients current SORP requirements. This would mean using data taken from Sage to prepare the Trial Balance at the period end, prepare draft accounts ready for audit and subsequently resolve all audit queries up to audit clearance. The role would also involve the checking of Trial Balances and draft accounts of other team members.

Candidates need to have experience of drafting accounts ready for audit and preparing trial balances. Candidates will ideally be degree educated, although our client will consider candidates with a good level of GCSE and A Level grades. Candidates need to have experience of Sage and ideally be progressing with professional qualifications.
